Tell us a little bit about yourself. What got you started on becoming a life purpose coach?
Hey! I’m Holly and I’m a Life Purpose Coach. I’ve always loved wellness, and have a big fan of therapy/self-help. It wasn’t till I discovered coaching, that I felt I was able to make big shifts in my own personal growth. I first started working as a health coach, focusing on nutrition and weight loss but realized most of my clients were looking for something way deeper. I’ve since shifted to coaching people towards finding their purpose in life, which includes taking care of their physical body, but that is just the first step.

How do you help your clients? Could you share more about your role as a health coach?
We live in a world where we can so easily live a life of rules from societal pressure. We might have gone to the perfect school, then got the perfect job, and married the perfect person- perfect according to society. But perhaps it’s not our true soul’s purpose. I help clients who are super successful, but feel stuck & purposeless work on discovering who they truly are, and get them taking steps in the right direction towards creating a life that excites them, and that they love. This could mean that they have a shift in how they see life as it is, or for some, it means taking a leap of in a whole new direction like trying a brand new career or opening their dream business.

You are also a certified Ashati energy healer. Could you share a little more about Ashati healing?
ASHATI is an energy healing, meditation, psychic, personal and spiritual development system that helps with the healing of body, mind and soul. It also helps with expanding your awareness and higher senses, understand your thoughts and emotions, connect with your higher-self and spirit guides, and much more.
I’ve always been a huge fan of energy healing, and I have been to many different healers. I wasn’t sure what was happening whenever I went, but I was open and always curious. So I decided to learn it myself so I could practice on my own body.
It gives me deep calm and relaxation, and helps me sleep like a baby! I believe that when the body is in deep deep relaxation, that is when it is able to self-heal and regenerate.
How do you start and end your day?
I start my day at 6:30am. I wake up, and say a prayer. I then do a short meditation. I spend my mornings listening to audiobooks before life starts.
In the evenings, I power down at 9pm. I do a gratitude list and reflection of my day and exchange it with a friend. I then do a short meditation with my partner before we sleep.

What is your approach to eating well? Could you share with us a holistic diet that you advise your clients on?
I believe it’s about eating whole plant foods as much as possible. I work on “crowding out”. So we don’t talk much about what you “cannot” eat. Rather we talk on what we WILL eat. I never make someone give up something if it doesn’t resonate with them. It has to be a personal choice. I do talk a lot about portion control and not mindlessly grazing/eating. So rather about eating it and doing it in an intentional way.
Is there an age-old Asian beauty or wellness tip that you got from your parents or an older person?
My 92 year grandma always says to eat lots of vegetables and rice- I love that.

Is there a quote or life motto that you live by?
“It always gets done”.
